Audio Output

Amplitude: 0-500 mv peak-to-peak into 600 ohms. 0-12 volts DC bias. Less than 20 ohms during ID, more than 50K ohms when not sending ID.
Base Frequency: 1200 Hz.
Encoding: Compatible with Motorola MDC-1200 ANI.
ID Types: Transmits an initial ID or final ID, or both. Codes 0-9999 can be programmed into its memory.

Power Requirements

7-15 volts DC, negative ground at 0.3 ma standby, 3 ma operating.

PTT Input

Contact closure to ground initiates ID.

PTT Line Output

+30 volts DC maximum open circuit. Output transistor closes PTT line to ground during PTT switch closure. Maximum current sink is 100 ma.

Emergency Activation Momentary emergency input to ground locks the ID-12 into Emergency Mode and Transmits a special ID code. It repeats this code 8 times at random intervals.
Initial Delay Programmable to between 10 and 2500 msec.
Stuck-Mike Time-out Timer Programmable to between 10 and 250 seconds.
